Renee was born in Tuscon, Arizona and grew up in central Louisiana before moving to northern Colorado as an adult. She worked in various pediatric subspecialty areas at the University of Colorado and Children’s Hospital before completing her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She enjoys working with children and their families to partner with them, to help them to live their healthiest and best lives. She is amazed how some children with significant health and mental/behavioral challenges, have the most amazing attitude and outlook on life. Through working with kids, her outlook on life has become more positive. She learns something new from children, adolescents and their families every day. For fun, Renee enjoys reading, dancing, theater, horseback riding, camping, hiking, skiing.
JaNae Haycock, PNP
JaNae is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in Utah and attended BYU for undergrad. She worked as a nurse for 8 years and worked in the NICU, newborn nursery and pediatrics for eight years before going back to school at University of Maryland to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing. She loves working with kids because she likes listening to their stories. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, yoga and exploring the great outdoors with her four children.
Katelyn Nelson, PNP
Katelyn grew up in Spokane, WA. She attended school at Connecticut College for her undergraduate studies, and Columbia University School of Nursing for her master’s in nursing. Katelyn worked with kids in pediatric GI in the Bronx, NY before moving to Colorado. Her favorite thing about working with kids is that they are candid, which sometimes makes visits hilarious. She also likes how treating kids can impact the entire family. When she is at home she likes to walk, hike, run, practice yoga, and do arts and crafts with her kids.
Rayna Ramirez, PNP
Rayna grew up in El Paso, Texas. She graduated with RN, BSN in 2009 and worked in general pediatrics before transitioning to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Providence Children’s Hospital in El Paso, Texas. She then transitioned to patient bedside care at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, TX. She later became the Director of Nursing for an outpatient pediatric surgical facility in San Antonio, Texas and then an elementary school nurse prior to completing her Masters in Nursing. Rayna is passionate about working with kids. She loves that they are honest and resilient. When she is not at work she likes to be outside – hiking, camping and trailing.
